Super Lucky Me!

Last June I wrote about a handbag I really, really wanted. But I never bought it because it's not the sort of thing I usually just go out and buy for myself. But last night I found this on my pillow!



It was a gift from Jamie just out of the blue and for no reason and the photo doesn't do it justice. It's gorgeous. How lucky am I to have such an awesome husband?!?

Wiccans Night Out!

I got another update to the girl's night out (oh, how I hate that term) that I'm going to next week. It's now been decided that we're kicking off the evening with an Equinox ceremony (and then going out somewhere.)There will be wiccans.

So, what does one wear to an Equinox service?

And also, I don't know from wiccans, but if it turns out to be anything like the liturgical dance ceremony we had, I will need to have a mental Bad Place to go to, already visited and at the ready...

OMG.

I've been invited out for a "girl's night out"/going away party for someone i like really a lot. However, after many ideas were tossed around about how to spend the evening, the potential plans have now landed on watching a movie at someone's house and "foot soaks".

I'm sorry, but WTF?!?

Can't we just go out to dinner?!?

I've been a girl for quite a long time and actually kind of a girly girl at that (don't throw that baseball at me, por favor), but I have never been a party to a gathering that involved foot soaking. This is freaking me out! Will there be pillow fights, too?
