New Week

And oh, MY LORD, what a week.

Monday:

Jordan was sick and we thought it was a stomach virus, but we were also worrying that it was the beginnings of the same thing that had her in the hospital this summer. I had to take off work from my new job and that wasn't good and then, that night, when Claudia and I were out, I fell and hurt my knee. Seriously!

Tuesday:

I totally almost couldn't walk and was considering going for an xray. Jordan was still sick but seemed to be on the upswing. Jamie had to take off work to stay home with her on a day that totally wasn't a good day for him to take off and then ended up having to take her to work with him to resolve an emergency.

Wednesday:

Jordan was still sick (poor baby), so I had to take off work again, my knee was still hurting but not to gotta-get-an-xray level and apparently, I have an absessed wisdom tooth as well so I was in a LOT of pain. And, I had some stuff I had to get done at work, so Jordan had to go to work with me this afternoon. And then we were off to the pediatrician to see what the hell. And it was, indeed, same thing as this summer (he sent her for an xray). So she's on medicine and we're making an appointment, per the direction of the ped, with a gastroenterologist. After the xray, I ran home, grabbed Claudia and the babysitter and my premed for the dentist (I have a heart murmur), ran the babysitter home, and ran to the emergency dentist that is open late (that Jamie found for me today. He's so awesome!). Jamie met me there with Sammy and happy meals for the girlies. So now I'm on antibiotics until Monday or so and then I have to go back in and deal. Fun times.

Tomorrow night's Jordan's school music program and Friday Jamie and Sammy are driving Claudia, Jordan and me to Cincinnati so we can fly to Austin for the weekend. I've never wanted to go to Cincinnati, so that should be fun.
