More Miscellaneous

I read a very funny article this morning, (which wasn't meant to be funny, btw) on why Indianapolis isn't boring and if you think it is--*you're* boring! It reminded me of how sometimes Southerners will argue an un-truth, just because they really *want* it to be true, such as, "we did so win the War of Northern Aggression, you dumb yankee sonofabitch!".

Well, at our house here in Indianapolis: City of Scintillation, things weren't boring, but they were very domestic. We're having Jamie's mom and dad, Walter and Beverly, over for dinner this Saturday night, along with Jamie's brother, Jason, and his wife, Leah, (which we're very excited about!) but this prompted us to go, "Hey--we still haven't actually finished unpacking and stuff--we should do that!". So that's pretty much what we did all weekend, with shopping, watching movies and breakfast out on Sunday mixed in. Luckily, Jamie and I have fun together doing pretty much everything, cleaning and unpacking included, so we had a great weekend. And now the house is closer to where we want it to be.

Walter and Beverly are freshly back from visiting Jamie's other brother, Andy and his wife, Lysa and our new baby, Caeli. Isn't she gorgeous?!

My parents are in Memphis this week visiting my mother's family and I think my sister's going to Germany for work sometime soon.
