the weekend

Oy, the weekend's already over! Friday night Jamie and Sammy went to Ft. Wayne and had a fabulous time. Saturday, Jordan went to see High School Musical on Ice with her best friend and a bunch of other friends, Sammy went to a nanowrimo party, Jamie studied for his exams and Claudia and I went and got ice cream (in the 30-degree weather) and rented a season of 30 Rock. We both love Kenneth!

Today we went to church and Claudia met and liked her mentor, Sammy and Jordan had "their best class ever"--they learned about the Chinese New Year and from the sound of it, burned a bunch of stuff (kitchen God, incense, candles) and set the fire alarm off, and had good snacks. After that we came home and they watched The Simpsons and roasted marshmallows over candles.


Then after lunch and Jamie and I watched the Colts game and made popcorn and cowboy cookies (oatmeal chocolate chip)



while the girlies spent time on the computer, did homework, cleaned their rooms, painted and Jordan and Sammy worked on their embroidery projects (I'm teaching them). And tonight, after dinner, Jamie taught Jordan a new song on the guitar.
