Life has been a crazy swirl of activity lately, but in a good way. Typical example: Last night we went to Claudia's band concert and then the minute her band was finished, I rushed out the door to attend a church board meeting and then out for coffee.
Jamie has another actuary exam coming up in May and he's been going out to study a lot because studying in our happy little madhouse is impossible.
Yesterday was my dad's birthday in which he marks the beginning of the end of his 60's. Happy Birthday to Dad!! Please don't do what America did at the end of their 60's--no bell bottom jeans, leisure suits, arena rock concerts or fondue parties, por favor! Although, fondue *is* Fun!
We finally had Jordan's Birthday party this last Sunday. We weren't able to have it the first night it was planned because of conflicts and illness and so we waited until we had Sam again because, of course, the sisters have to be there. But as it turns out, Sam and Claudia both got sick and couldn't go anyway (and we couldn't, in good conscience, reschedule it *again*). Jordan and her friends had a great time and Jamie didn't cut the little girls any slack at all in the bowling! It was so bad that when the second game came up, and he was off doing something else for a minute, they rolled two gutter balls for him, wildly high-fived each other and cheered, and he still ended up winning.
