Weekend

Another low-key weekend but the sleepover was a big success and by that I mean only two of the girls stayed up until 4am and they all had a great time.

It's very autumney here and it's just so strange to me. It's making me all reflective and the other day I was thinking about how it makes me feel more in-tune with the earth and then I heard Archie Bunker's voice in my head saying, "Oh, Geez!!!". As much as we (the Texans) are and are going to be complaining about the cold, we're actually pretty excited about it. Mild winter weather has a million and one advantages, but kids in Texas hope for snow so, so much every year and those hopes are rarely, if ever, rewarded, so we can't wait!
