Friday I went to a neurologist for the migraines I've been having pretty much every day for the past two-three months. And the neurologist has ordered scary medical tests (well, unfun tests with potential scary results) so you guys should send nice thoughts to Jamie because anyone who knows me well knows that I am obsessing about potential bad outcomes pretty hardcore and he's having to spend a lot of time talking me down. I think the testing should all be completed this week and then I'll have results almost immediately for most.
Other than that Jamie and I have a billion trillion meetings to go to at church this month, Jamie's on a steering committee and a governance committee and we're both on the children's religious education committee and I do the social justice thing. The church is going through some major changes and it's a lot of work, but pretty interesting/fun and we're meeting new people all the time so that's cool, too.
We spent the weekend mostly shopping. We've about finished up buying school supplies, back packs, and school supplies.
Here are the girls in new school clothes on the way to church this morning. Aren't they adorable? They're all argyle and plaid!

Other weekend stuff: Jamie, Claudia and I have started watching The Soup every Friday night at 10 and if you haven't seen it, you should--it's very funny! Last night Claudia went to a birthday party for her friend, L., and found out that L. isn't moving to Florida after all! This is very good news! And this afternoon Jamie took both little girls to see the Chronicles of Narnia. Oh, and Claudia got up at 5:30 a.m. to watch the Chris Matthews show!
