the Weekend

I only have two seconds, so bullet points:

--Jamie's grandfather isn't doing well and Jamie's in Fort Wayne tonight with family.

--Leah starts her cool new job tomorrow--Good Luck, Aunt Dr. Leah!

--Sam's super nice and lovely step-sister, Becky, is leaving for the army this week so she gave Claudia her three totally adorable mice. Claudia is thrilled and I think (I hope!) Becky's mind is at ease--Claudia will take super good care of them.

--Sam's other super nice and lovely step-sister, Chelsey, and her husband have a new baby this weekend, so big Congratulations to them! As Melanie Wilkes would say, "The happiest days are when babies come."

--All three girls are off to middle school tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. WOOOOOO!!!!!

--My social justice chairpersonship continues to be really exciting and challenging and I'm able to do very cool and creative things with it.

--We got a total, TOTAL deal on some furniture through where I work (as in, it would have insane not to buy these things), so we now have three new chairs, a new loveseat and a new coffee table in addition to the new end table we bought a while back. We also bought Claudia a purple loveseat for her room.

--Claudia got her hair CUT this weekend! She cut off ten inches and donated it to Locks of Love. And she looks adorable!
