Miscellaneous Wednesday

Jamie met us at Claudia's school today for orientation. We got Claudia's schedule and helped her find all her classes and practice her route. We were supposed to get her locker assignment today so she could practice her combination, but they don't have enough lockers and Claudia is one of about 6 lucky 6th graders who won't have a locker for a while. But other than that, it went really well and she feels confident that she'll be able to get around.

This morning the dentist gave us Very Good News--all of Claudia's adult teeth are in and they're fabulous--cavity-free, spaced correctly, and her bite is better than some of the dentist's patients after they've had braces, so she doesn't think Claudia will have to wear them. Yay! We're going to re-visit the question of braces in a couple of years after her bite matures, but she doesn't think it's going to be necessary.
